	DUTY started as a group of mercenaries based out of the Green Mountain area of Chernarus. Led by a survivor named [[Ender]], the group offered services for clearing out towns of infected, security detail, and other mercenary-type work. They often ventured to Myshkino and Zelenogorsk to search for military supplies that would aid them in this work, and in doing so interacted with or spoke to other survivors in the area. Not all members were ex-military; however, they did have military-like discipline and worked to protect certain areas of the map while they discovered more about Chernarus. Their formal declaration of territory was both claiming the base itself and creating a denial zone around it to others in order to safely research and secure the base from bandits/evil doers. This declaration put them at odds with many groups, most famously of [[Black Paw]]. 			*Eradication of the Infection through any means possible.
			*Research/Combat the Zero-Infection, a communicable prion disease.
			*Destroy those who seek to propagate the disease and any/all derivatives thereof.

			Secondary goals included:

			*Counteract Black Paw's Opposition of Duty and broader society
			*Investigate the Bureau
			*Preserve Tisy from the destruction of looters and bandits

			These goals were their main objective; they still from time to time conducted mercenary operations such as overwatch, escorting, and extraction.
