			'''Racine''' was a US Army paratrooper from Michigan in the United States. He was deployed to Chernarus in the early stages of the outbreak, and for reasons unknown went AWOL and stayed there. Whether he was already a killer waiting for an opportunity to go out on his own, or if something happened during his deployment to make him lose faith in his mission, no one knows. What is known is that Racine’s actions in Chernarus have led to him being called a bandit, a terrorist, and a serial killer. He has made it clear that he is an enemy of anyone who wishes to recreate any new form of government.

			Racine was in the past known to wear the notorious '''[[Rangers Chernarus]]''' uniform, including a tactical helmet or green beret, a purple polka dot face mask or skull ski mask, and a purple armband.

			After the Rangers dissolved, Racine often wore just whatever he could find to remain in disguise. Today he only dawns the Rangers’ colors for special occasions.

			All that is known of Racine’s pre-Chernarus origins is that he was a US Army paratrooper who was deployed to Chernarus in 2017 before going AWOL and beginning his career as a bandit.

			== Demeanor ==
			Racine was once described as ‘a very young man with a natural shooting ability and an air of youthful invincibility and cockiness.’ He has been known to put himself in very dangerous situations which have caught up with him a handful of times. He continues to live by the Rangers’ motto, “comply or die”.

			Racine is in it for himself and makes decisions based on his own personal gain. He longs to restore the [[Rangers Chernarus]] to their former glory, but for now he continues his acts of terror and banditry as he bides his time.

			After Chip was executed, Racine took power with the goal of bringing back the ways of the old [[Rangers Chernarus]]. He wrote a letter to his old chief [[Jack Chen]], asking him to come back to lead and restore the Rangers’ name. To his surprise, Jack did indeed return.

			Months of renewed banditry and chaos followed, but after Jack’s second unexplained disappearance, the [[Rangers Chernarus]] officially dissolved. Despite this, Racine and some of his old allies do sometimes don the old colors and spread terror in Chernarus as Rangers to this day.

			In early 2023, Racine found new allies with a group called the '''[[Exiles]]''' and became part of their leadership. That short-lived group dissolved after several members left Chernarus, and Racine turned to solo banditry again for a time.

			At present, Racine keeps his identity hidden as he runs with different bandit groups and seeks his next opportunity for violent personal gain. He has come to learn that announcing himself draws a multitude of foes who want him dead, and so he considers it best that they only find out who they’re dealing with once it’s too late.

			== Where are they now? ==
			Racine remains active in Chernarus to this day, although with the number of bounties on his head, he is currently doing his best to remain anonymous. He continues to gravitate towards others who would take what they want by any means necessary.

			== Relationships ==

			* [[Jack Chen]]: The founder of the [[Rangers Chernarus]] and the man who encouraged Racine to expand his capacity for mayhem by finding others who were capable of similar violence.
