	In early September 2023, Pete Roberts was jumped and held hostage in Pusta by the [[Masquerade]], a nomadic group of mime themed bandits and cannibals. While he was captured the [[Masquerade]] abused Pete and cut his face with a fange knife while threatening to eat him, leaving him scarred. The [[Masquerade]] had made many enemies traveling South Zagoria, and Pete, with the help of a man named Ego, took advantage of the mutual hatred many groups had for the [[Masquerade]]. 	When doctors determined that Pete Roberts would not survive, his friends entered the surgical room to comfort him. Pete requested Harry’s pistol and, with assistance from Irish and Harry, was brought to Bart’s pond to deliver final words to his companions. After addressing several members of the group and urging the group not to succumb to vengeance, Pete used the pistol to end his life on November 1st 2025. Harry, along with Irish, witnessed the act. Following a brief gun salute, Harry retrieved Pete’s body, wrapping it up and returning it to Pusta for a proper funeral.
