Nestled in the quiet little Western town of Bor, Vigil is a found family of survivors that have bonded through hardship, friendship, mirth, and misfortunes. The glue that holds them together is their wish to help others. Despite the harshness of the world since the Day Zero outbreak, they believe there is hope to be found in every act of kindness, love, and charity. To facilitate this, they have built the Sanctuary, which is a community camp in Bor: it is a home, an embassy, a farmstead, and a fortress all in one. Within the Sanctuary, Vigil is able to help survivors with food and supplies, but also help promote communication between individuals and groups. They actively protect it from those who cannot respect its rules, and any other aggressors. As heard from a member about the group and the Sanctuary:

“The Vigil gots to be the nicest guys around. As long as you respect ‘em. They got Sanctuary where anyone is welcome, as long as you follow the rules. Best description I can give ya is that they are like a family. They all do their own stuff, they all got their own opinions but, at the end of the day, they got their Bor, and their love of helping people. Now, if you wanna piss them off that’s easy. Start disrespecting them on their turf. You know, acting like ya mother never show’d ya nothin’. Or, start telling them what to do. That’ll do it real quick.” - Tony
