Origins
Bozo the Clown was a man named Angus Oblong II, born in Canada and hailed from a prestigious polish clown family that toured throughout Europe. When Angus was a younger man, he was expected to attend the ‘Barnum & Bailey Clown College’ as the Oblongs have a deep-rooted history in becoming clowns. During his time at College, he developed a rather bad habit of drug addiction, which led to his careless and compulsive behaviors in the further.
Upon finishing Clown College and getting his degree in gymnastics, Angus adopted the name ‘Bozo the Clown’ after the late and great; Bozo, The World's Most Famous Clown. As Bozo and his father toured the country of Livonia, he got himself tied up in an incident with a “woman of the night” which led to her dying of an overdose. He decides not to report this to the local authorities and rather hide the body. He was caught red-handed with the body bag and was charged with second-degree murder. As the outbreak occurred bozo got the opportunity to escape from prison. Seeing what the virus do to people, he swore to himself that he will do whatever it takes to survive
Demeanor
Though undoubtedly a lunatic, Bozo is known to many to have a silver tongue, an open ear and a never-ending itch to cause chaos wherever he goes.
Actions
A few years later, Bozo found himself in Chernarus, doing what he knew best. He started his own little circus, which he dubbed “The Carnival”. Bozo knew that he needed to make a name for himself and knew the light of the Fire Keepers would be the route to take. Bozo heard of many stories of those who came before him; mythical names like Maddie Adder and Dirty Dan. Inspired by those stories, he decided that the best way to make a name for The Carnival was to start a traveling circus. This decision a meeting with the fabled wolves of the west, who were known as the Black Paw. However, Bozo was quite foolish and unaware of his political surroundings - ultimately leading to the Fire Keepers being alerted to Bozo’s true depraved intentions. He was captured and summarily sentenced to death by Tex Rockwolf of the Fire Keepers and Kyle Peyton of Guardians. Left for dead in a Novodmitrovsk ditch riddled with bullet holes from his captors, the only thing that would keep Bozo alive was a burning hatred for those that had wronged him.
A year later and after a long war with the Fire Keepers, Bozo had gained many friends over his time within Chernarus and settled in Polesovo, the former home of the Kindred. Bozo was one of the founding leaders of the Syndicate, which was formed out of necessity by various nefarious entities of Chernarus to counter the growing Coalition of the North. One Halloween, the clowns went to go trick-or-treating; a terrifying reverie which was later dubbed the Parade of Corpses. They went up and down the Northern Highway looking for tricks or treats from unsuspecting travelers, but during their festivities one of the clowns named Puddles was brutally murdered by the 506th. As a result of this situation, Bozo, and the Carnival ended up renouncing their former friends and moving their home from Polesovo Green Mountain; the former haunt of the eponymous and universally feared Green Mountain Nomads.
In his enraged and irrational state, Bozo launched an all-out assault against the 506th in retaliation for the death of Puddles - a conflict which lasted for many years to follow and led to the deaths of many more 506th soldiers and clowns. In that same time frame, The Carnival were also dragged into a war between the Syndicate and a group called RISE, which lived in Vybor with the New Chernarus Republic (NCR). The Carnival ended up receiving little to no help from their supposed allies in the Syndicate, and to Bozo's dismay were ultimately forced to abandon Green Mountain.
Bozo found refuge at the North East Airfield outside of Krasnostav. He still had strong relationships with Dark as Midnight, and they seemingly didn’t have a problem with the clowns being their neighbors. Months followed and the NCR threat faded away, but RISE were still kicking. A couple of months later, the bombing of some clowns by a Dugout Employee led Bozo to reconcile with their fabled enemies, the 506th. Unknowingly to Bozo, Dark as Midnight and RISE had become allies, and the Syndicate dissolved quickly as a result of the subsequent re-drawing of battle lines.
Bozo tried desperately to fight RISE by any means necessary, forming his own coalition known as the Beacons as a means to focus everyone on the major threat at hand. Months into the war, a stalemate had emerged until an army of Dugout, Dark as Midnight and RISE massacred the Beacons at Krasnostav Airfield.
Notable Relationships
Where are they now?
After watching the Northeast Airfield massacre helplessly from afar, Bozo fled into the wild until he was able to gather enough strength and rebuild enough relationships to move back to Green Mountain. He remains missing to this day.
