Katarina Hanna Freeman, known to her friends as Kate, came to Chernarus following an old friend of hers. Once realizing the family this friend had didn’t suit her, she went rogue and helped form a new family; only to abandon and betray them as well months later. Kate hid with the Scribes until she let her madness consume her and joined Dark as Midnight by killing Toronto. She died to DAMN’s hands after getting pregnant with Doink Doink.

Kate enjoyed questioning everything and everyone. She’d spend a lot of time on her own and seek out truths herself. She was selfish, honest, and always picked one person she’d strive for. That person would change depending on her goals. Eventually she grew angry and resentful, letting it cloud her judgment and actions.
Actions
After leaving Northgard, Kate aided George Luz by spying on the 506th and feeding him everything she saw. She explored and learned about South Zagoria alongside Zirka as they helped Luz regain his memory after an almost fatal gunshot. It was then that the Wanderers were born, and Kate played as a public voice for the new group. Playing that part however was hard as a new face and she was constantly asked if they could speak to Luz instead. So Kate started to seek her own path with the help of Jordan. She’d frequently run from community camp trying to make friends only to be untrusted until she came across Toronto and The Love Ray. She quickly befriended the two and aided them with Saint Joseph’s. Eventually rumors caught up to her as she moved around and was seen talking with multiple people. Rumors that caused her to be more untrustful and she was warned by Tony of the words that George Luz had said. Kate decided to leave the Wanderers and headed to the Scribes for shelter.
Where are they now?
Never hearing from her real family and leaving others she tried joining, Kate decided she wanted to make her own family with the man she grew madly insanely in-love with. This caused friction between her and Dark as Midnight as she took Doink Doink on her little hunting trips. When word that the Vigil knew of her pregnancy before DAMN, Harvey made it a point to teach her a lesson by having CJ shoot the unborn baby. This caused Doink Doink to enrage as he fought against DAMN, leading to his death and then Kate’s only seconds later.
